Job Responsibilities
  • Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs to develop personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them reach their functional goals
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage research-proven approaches to enhance patients motor, cognitive, and daily living skills
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage with a diverse range of healthcare professionals including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure a comprehensive and holistic treatment approach
  • Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide insights and guidance to patients and caregivers about therapy methods that can be applied at home for continued recovery
  • Track and Assess Progress: Monitor patient developments and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best outcomes
Education Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Encouragement towards continuing education or post-graduate certifications
Licensing and Certification
  • Current active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
