Position Details

  • Facilitate one-on-one speech therapy interventions that emphasize communication, language development, fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, families, and caregivers to ensure integrated care approaches.
  • Provide educational resources for patients and families to bolster improvement beyond clinical environments.
  • Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and speech therapy interventions ensuring ongoing care consistency during recovery.
  • Maintain precise and timely records that comply with state, federal, and organizational mandates.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field through ongoing training and collaboration with peers.

Education Requirements

  • A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet certified by ASHA.

Required Certifications

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
