$41.27-$62.62 Hourlyhowever, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Work Schedule for this Position: Monday-Friday 8am5pm; occasional Saturday on-call
About the Team:
Pullman Regional Hospitals Rehabilitation Services Department, also known as Summit Therapy, is a dynamic and multidisciplinary team of highly skilled individuals. The Occupational Therapy department cares for patients of all ages, in both locations of inpatient/acute care and outpatient services.

Position Overview:
Plans and administers medically prescribed treatment programs to help people with injury, illness, or disability to develop, recover, improve, and maintain skills for activities of daily living.
A Day in the Life:
- Evaluate patient function in accordance with the American Occupational Therapy Associations standards of practice for the delivery of occupational therapy.
- Develop and administer therapy plans in accordance with the American Occupational Therapy Associations standards of practice for the delivery of occupational therapy.
- Review patient needs and adjust plan of care as indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate and consult with other professional staff, including support staff, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Use positive communication skills within the framework of teamwork, throughout all daily activities and given a like-minded approach of excellence in patient care.
- Attend staff meetings on a regular basis.
- Document in accordance with industry standards of excellence and complete all documentation within required timeframe. Monitor patient charts for required signatures and other required components to ensure a complete and accurate chart at all times.
- Work effectively to always follow departmental and hospital infection control and safety policies and procedures.
- Use department and hospital equipment and resources efficiently, safely and effectively.
- Contribute to creating a safe work environment by identifying any safety concerns and actively seeking to resolve those concerns in cooperation with the Director.
About You!
This Job is For You if You Have:
- Degree from an accredited university program in Occupational Therapy.
- Active Washington State License or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and patients.
- Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources appropriately.
- Basic computer skills and ability to utilize an electronic medical record program.
