Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to provide specialized speech and language services for elementary students in grades K-5. This contract opportunity spans the 2025-2026 school year in Des Plaines, IL, offering a dynamic role supporting pediatric caseloads in an educational setting. Key Qualifications: Current certification or licensure as SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or SLPA credential. Experience in healthcare and/or school environments preferred. Pediatric speech-language pathology experience highly advantageous. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for SLPs is acceptable. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, students, and families. Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to K-5 students. Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly. Collaborate with school staff to integrate therapy goals within classroom activities. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student records. Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed. Location: Des Plaines, IL - Elementary School Setting Duration: Contract position from August 20, 2025, through May 28, 2026, with a commitment of 35+ hours per week.
