Occupational Therapist Specialist - Neuro Specialist
The nationally recognized Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio, Department of Orthopaedics, Division of Physical Therapy, is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated full time Occupational Therapist to join our team as a full-time faculty member. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about academic medicine and patient care excellence specifically in the area of neurologically affected patients.
Position Highlights:
1. Provide specialized care to patients in our outpatient clinics
2. No nights, calls, or weekends required
3. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
4. Opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team of neurologists, researchers, PT's/OT's/ST's and more all in house at the Center for Brain Health.
Qualifications:
1. Masters or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) Required
2. Texas License and BLS certification required
3. Preferred experience in neurological diagnoses such as Stroke Recovery, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy and other neurological dysfunctions.
