Job Responsibilities
  • Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create tailored therapy strategies to help them accomplish their personal goals.
  • Implement Effective Interventions: Apply evidence-based methods to enhance motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily activities for your patients.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with other health professionalsincluding OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursesto ensure a rounded approach to patient care.
  • Guide Patients and Families: Provide education and resources to empower patients and their families in the continuation of therapy at home.
  • Track Progress and Adjust: Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure each person stays on their healing journey.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
  • Continuing education and additional certifications are encouraged and supported during your tenure.
Licensure and Certification
  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
  • Must possess NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification.
