Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time Portsmouth, VA

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Portsmouth, Virginia. This is a rewarding opportunity to help K12 students strengthen their speech, language, and communication skills, supporting both academic achievement and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess student needs

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication goals

• Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other service providers to support student success

• Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data and team input

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Valid Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply

• Previous school-based experience preferred but not required

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
