Description

- Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions targeting communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing challenges.
- Partner closely with a multi-disciplinary team of caregivers, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families, to form a unified approach to care.
- Educate patients and their families to foster progress between therapy sessions.
- Support occasional inpatient evaluations to maintain seamless continuity of care throughout treatment duration.
- Ensure precise and prompt documentation in compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements through ongoing education and collaborative learning opportunities.
Education
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.
Certifications
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
