Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-semester contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide overflow support in a K-12 school setting. This role requires working two days per week (.4 FTE) near Staten Island, NY, conveniently located near New Mt Vernon, New Rochelle, and the Bronx areas. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students, supporting assessment, treatment, and progress monitoring Utilize teletherapy techniques when appropriate to enhance accessibility and effectiveness of care Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulations and standards Provide services across healthcare and school environments, adapting to pediatric populations in various settings Desired Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience in pediatrics and school-based SLP services Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Proficient in delivering teletherapy sessions Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and collaborate effectively Location: Position located in Staten Island, NY, with easy access to New Mt Vernon, New Rochelle, and the Bronx, facilitating commuting convenience Benefits: Opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment Structured contract for a full semester, providing predictable scheduling and workload Flexibility to contribute meaningfully within a part-time framework This opportunity is ideal for an SLP looking to apply their healthcare and school-based experience in a focused, supportive role with flexible scheduling.
