  • Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions emphasizing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to develop holistic care approaches.
  • Provide educational support to patients and their families, ensuring ongoing progress even outside the therapy room.
  • Engage in sporadic inpatient evaluations and therapeutic services, fostering a seamless care continuum throughout the treatment journey.
  • Uphold meticulous documentation practices in compliance with state, federal, and internal standards.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development through education and collaboration with peers.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications Required

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
