The Clinical Fellow (CF) Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) assists the Senior SLP in providing speech and language services. The Clinical Fellow Speech Language Pathologist works in accordance with state and health regulations and Standards of Practice of Speech Pathology. The SLP Clinical Fellow is considered a mentored clinical experience that begins after academic course work and clinical practicum. The Clinical Fellow Speech Language Pathologist must work under the clinical supervision and mentoring from an experienced client Speech Language Pathologist.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of a SLP program with a bachelors or Masters degree in a speech-language pathology
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age

DLP Program: 1.0 FTE
- Located in Midlothian and Crestwood, IL, EC-8th Grade
- Ave caseload 20-25 students, Ave weekly minutes is 1100-1200
- Students have severe to profound autism, and intellectual, physical, multiple disabilities
- Hours 8:10-2:40 M-F, Paid for 6 hours
DHH Program: .6 FTE (would be open to full time if can’t find a candidate 3 days/week)
- Located in Crestwood, IL, EC-HS
- Ave caseload 20-25 students (will be adjusted for part time), Ave weekly minutes 1100-1200 (will be adjusted for part time)
- Students are deaf and hard of hearing
- Hours 8-3, Paid for 6.5 hours
- Sign language preferred but not required
Classroom Support?:
Supervision will be provided by the district for the CF-SLP
