Pediatric Speech Pathology - Cortland, NY

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide vital support to students across K-12 with mild to severe disabilities. This contract position, located in the Ithaca, NY area, offers a comprehensive caseload including students with Autism, Cognitive Delays, Emotional Disturbances, and Down Syndrome, serving during the 2025-2026 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Utilize teletherapy and traditional therapy methods as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations.
• Support students educational progress by adapting therapeutic approaches to school curricula.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Active Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification.
• Experience working in pediatric healthcare, school settings, teletherapy, or related fields.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
• Strong understanding of the needs of children with developmental and communication disorders.
