Speech-Language Pathologist K-12 School Setting (Contract, CSY) Port Jervis, NY

A K-12 school in Port Jervis, NY is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services during the current school year on a contractual basis. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, focusing on pediatric caseloads in an educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language assessments and therapies tailored to individual student needs within the K-12 setting
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in meetings and provide consultation as needed to support student communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York State
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare or school settings
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
  • Knowledge of speech-language development and disorders in school-aged children
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
