Job Description
Two Occupational Therapist Positions K-12 School Settings in Hamilton, OH
An immediate need exists for two skilled Occupational Therapists to support students within a diverse K-12 educational setting. These contract roles serve elementary and early childhood populations, addressing a range of mild to severe disabilities across multiple school locations within a close radius.
Position Details:
- Full-Time OT (most urgent): 35 hours/week supporting two elementary schools approximately 13 minutes apart
- Part-Time OT: 3 days/week at an Early Childhood Center with potential for up to 4 days/week and extended contract if a strong match
Contract Duration:
- Full-Time: August 19 November 27, 2025
- Part-Time: August 19 December 22, 2025 (option to extend for full school year available)
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized OT interventions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and participation
- Monitor and document student performance and adjust plans accordingly
- Serve students with a spectrum of disabilities, ensuring inclusive and effective therapeutic services
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Occupational Therapy license
- Ohio Department of Education certification
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably across mild to severe disability ranges
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively across multiple locations (for full-time position)
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for interdisciplinary teamwork
