Position Responsibilities

• Deliver focused speech therapy sessions that enhance language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
• Work collaboratively alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, families, and caregivers to develop unified care approaches.
• Provide educational resources to patients and their families to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Support with inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions when required, ensuring a seamless care experience.
• Maintain thorough and prompt documentation in adherence to organizational, state, and federal regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development through further education and collaboration with peers in the field.

Qualifications

• Holding a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.

Required Credentials

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary within the first month of employment.
