Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A full-time occupational therapy professional is needed to provide comprehensive services across a K-12 school setting, focusing on PreK through 12th-grade students. This contract position offers an immediate start and extends through the full 2025-2026 school year. The role involves delivering skilled therapy to support students' fine and gross motor development, ensuring their ability to participate fully in educational activities. Key responsibilities include: Conducting evaluations and assessments to develop individualized therapy plans. Providing direct occupational therapy services both in person and via teletherapy. Collaborating with educators and healthcare providers to support each student's needs. Utilizing specialized skills in fine motor and gross motor interventions to enhance student performance. Supporting home health and healthcare occupational therapy services as needed. Documenting progress and communicating effectively with all members of the student's support team. Desired qualifications and experience: Certification in Occupational Therapy or as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience in school-based occupational therapy, including working with K-12 students. Proficiency in teletherapy service delivery. Strong knowledge of fine and gross motor skill development. Ability to provide home health occupational therapy services is advantageous. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
