Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment strategies that foster functional independence.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to foster improvements in motor skills, cognitive function, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide integrated and comprehensive care.
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate both patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques to encourage continued progress beyond clinical settings.
• Monitor Progress and Document Outcomes: Track patient advancements and make necessary adjustments to treatment to ensure effective recovery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Licensure and Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (COTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
