Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract This opportunity seeks an Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in a Minneapolis-based school setting. This contract position spans the full school year, providing consistent therapeutic services to enhance students' functional skills and promote academic success. Key responsibilities include: Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans geared toward improving fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom environment Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and educational standards Participating in meetings and providing consultative support to promote positive student outcomes Preferred qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license and certification Experience working in K-12 educational settings Strong knowledge of child development and school-based interventions Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment Location: Minneapolis, MN
