Job Summary:
Our charter school client in Oxford, MI is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, helping them reach their full academic and social potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students based on IEPs and referrals.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student success.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding student goals and progress.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and school guidelines.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Active Michigan SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a school setting.
