Role Responsibilities

- Create individualized treatment plans that meet both immediate and comprehensive communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
- Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions focusing on communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, including occupational and physical therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop cohesive care strategies.
- Provide educational resources and guidance to patients and families, empowering them to support progress outside the therapy sessions.
- Participate in the occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout each patients journey.
- Uphold meticulous documentation standards in alignment with the regulations set forth by local, state, and federal agencies.

Educational Requirements
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if certification from ASHA has not yet been achieved.
Credential Requirements
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
