Physical Therapist - Full Time - Madison Heights

Location: Henry Ford Health Madison Heights Hospital

Department: Physical Therapy

Hours: Hours of operation are Monday - Thursday 7am - 7pm, and Friday 7am - 2pm. The expectation is to work 2 evenings until 7pm.

Description:

Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.

Responsibilities:

• Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
• Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
• BLS Provider through the American Heart Association required
• Looking for someone interested in vestibular rehab and/or lymphedema rehab preferred
