Job Description- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients needs and design personalized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional objectives
- Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply research-supported practices to improve patients motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living tasks
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work side by side with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to provide comprehensive and holistic care
- Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques to encourage ongoing progress at home
- Document and Monitor Progress: Track clinical outcomes and modify treatments as necessary to keep patients moving forward
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Commitment to continuing education and further certification encouraged
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
