Company Description The Children's Center for Therapy and Learning is a unique multi-disciplinary private practice that utilizes a family-centered team approach to help children maximize their potentials. We design individualized programs, building upon each child's strengths while conducting therapy in a quiet, personal environment. The Center offers a variety of therapies and programs that utilize the latest techniques and research to help children feel successful and achieve their goals. Therapies are offered at the Center as well as at the child's home, school, or daycare center. Most private insurance is accepted, including being an in-network provider for Aetna and Humana. Role Description This is a Full time on-site role for an Occupational Therapist, located in North Miami, FL. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapy programs to help children develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills. Day-to-day tasks include conducting individual therapy sessions, designing treatment plans, and collaborating with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care. The role also involves documenting progress and adjusting therapy as needed. Qualifications Occupational Therapy skills and knowledge of Rehabilitation techniques Background in Medicine relevant to pediatrics Strong Communication skills to work with children, families, and other professionals Specialization in Pediatrics Ability to create and implement individualized therapy programs State license in Occupational Therapy Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field preferred Experience in a clinical or educational setting is beneficial
