This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a dynamic K-12 school setting, serving predominantly elementary students across 2-3 school sites. Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to K-12 students, focusing mainly on elementary-aged children.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to meet individual needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student performance.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in healthcare and pediatric settings, preferably in schools.
- Proficiency in teletherapy is beneficial but this position requires onsite work.
- Complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored to working with children and school staff.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively, primarily across 2-3 educational sites.
Location & Schedule:
- Position is onsite in Appleton, WI, supporting a school district from August 25, 2025, to June 8, 2026.
- Full-time hours, approximately 40 hours per week during the school year.
