A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide essential services within a K-12 educational setting located in Ann Arbor, MI. This full-time, onsite contract position spans the full school year and focuses primarily on secondary resource room and self-contained student caseloads.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for secondary students
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to resource room and self-contained student needs
- Collaborating with educators and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid Michigan Speech Language Pathologist license required
- Certification of Clinical Competencies (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience providing speech and language services in school settings, particularly with secondary students
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus, although this role primarily requires onsite presence
