This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services within a K-8 educational setting in Plainfield, Illinois. The role focuses on cooperative programming, supporting early childhood through 8th-grade students with diverse speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services onsite to students across early childhood and K-8 grades.
  • Manage cooperative programming caseload, collaborating closely with educational staff to support student communication goals.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans aligned with district standards and student needs.
  • Participate in assessments and progress monitoring to track student development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement for the state of Illinois.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience in pediatric healthcare, schools, or clinical fellowship year (CFY) preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to supporting students with speech and language challenges in an educational environment.

Position Details:

  • Location: Onsite in Plainfield, Illinois.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
  • Contract Duration: August 14, 2025 through May 29, 2026 (school year).
