SLP Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders in students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide direct therapy services both individually and in small groups.
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records.
• Consult with teachers, parents and staff to support student needs in the classroom.
• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes.
• Support social communication skills and language development across various settings.

Qualifications:

• Required: North Dakota SLP License or SLP Paraprofessional Certificate issued by the NDDPI
• Required: Ability to work onsite part-time or full-time
• Required: Ability to commute
• Preferred: Previous school-based experience
