Pediatric School-Based SLP Richmond, Virginia

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide services in a K-12 school setting in Richmond, VA. This role is ideal for professionals specializing in pediatric speech-language therapy across educational and healthcare environments.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as an SLP (CCC) or SLPA with experience in school or healthcare settings
• Proficiency working with pediatric populations
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred for SLP candidates
• Familiarity with K-12 educational speech-language services and regulations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language assessments and screenings for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication disorders
• Document progress and maintain compliance with applicable educational and healthcare standards
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Participate in team meetings and assist with related therapy activities as needed
