Job Type: Contract - School Year An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support within an elementary school setting. This position is designed for the upcoming school year and requires expertise working in educational environments to assist young students in developing essential motor and sensory skills that enhance their learning experience. Responsibilities include: Conducting thorough assessments of students' fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills. Designing and implementing individualized intervention plans aligned with educational goals. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress. Documenting student progress and maintaining compliance with school and state regulations. Delivering both direct therapy services and consultative support within the classroom. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license with experience in pediatric and school-based settings. Proven ability to work effectively with elementary-aged children. Strong understanding of educational frameworks and individualized education plans (IEPs). Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across school staff and families. Flexibility to adapt therapeutic approaches according to student needs and school schedules.
