An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide specialized therapy services for students with more severe speech and language needs in a K-12 school setting. This contract position is based onsite in Athens, TN, with a focus on delivering targeted therapy one day per week, supporting student success and communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students with complex speech and language needs.
- Manage a caseload requiring individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct sessions from 8:30 AM to 2:45 PM on one day weekly, preferably Thursday or Friday.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in K-12 educational settings.
- Ability to design and implement effective therapy plans for students with significant communication challenges.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
