Grades: K-12 (Primarily High School Students)
Contract Duration: August 2025 - June 2026 This opportunity involves providing speech-language pathology services to a caseload of approximately 28 students, mainly high school level with some elementary students nearby. Working in a suburban St. Louis setting, you will conduct assessments, deliver individualized therapy, and collaborate with educators and families to support student development and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop targeted therapy plans Deliver direct and personalized therapy sessions to meet each student's unique needs Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications are implemented Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and help set measurable goals Provide resources and guidance to parents and caregivers to support student progress at home Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current CCC-SLP, CFY eligibility, or valid state SLP license Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach Familiarity with IEP processes and educational laws related to special education Schedule & Benefits: Full school-year contract aligned with academic calendar (August through June) Scheduled school hours with holidays and vacations off Competitive hourly pay Guaranteed work hours This role offers a fulfilling experience working in a supportive educational environment.
