School Physical Therapist

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract A part-time physical therapist position is available to support K-12 students across multiple schools within the district. This itinerant role involves traveling between schools to provide comprehensive physical therapy services throughout the full school year. Three days at 7 hours per day One day at 6 hours per day Duration: August 25, 2025, to June 11, 2026 Setting: K-12 Schools, multiple locations within the district Responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy services to students in a school environment, addressing a wide range of physical developmental needs Travel between various schools to provide consistent and effective care for the student population Collaborate with educators, parents, and other service providers to integrate therapy goals with academic and social objectives Document and maintain thorough records of all therapy sessions and student progress Participate in meetings and consultations to support individualized education programs (IEPs) Qualifications: Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Connecticut Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within school settings Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage time effectively while traveling to multiple sites Commitment to supporting student growth and inclusivity Benefits: Opportunity to work within an educational setting alongside a multidisciplinary team Hands-on experience with a diverse range of pediatric cases Structured schedule with predictable hours over the academic year Candidates interested in contributing to students' physical development across multiple school environments are encouraged to apply.
