Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Contract Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide essential support to students in a K-12 educational setting located in North Charleston, SC. This role requires a strong commitment to helping students develop effective communication skills through individualized therapy and collaboration with educational staff. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grade levels. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on speech and language goals. Provide direct speech-language therapy services tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports. Participate in meetings related to student evaluations and educational planning. Qualifications: Possession of a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in school settings. Experience working with a diverse student population in K-12 schools. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage caseload effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Location: North Charleston, South Carolina
