Duties:

Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilitiesDevelop individualized treatment plans based on assessment resultsProvide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilitiesMonitor and document patients' progress during therapy sessionsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient careEducate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategiesProvide case management services to ensure continuity of careStay updated on the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a team environmentEmpathy and compassion for patientsStrong organizational and time management skills

Please note that experience in speech therapy is not relevant to the role of an Occupational Therapist.
