Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract An elementary school in Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support their team for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers approximately 30 hours per week from ASAP through the end of the school year, providing vital support in delivering speech-language services to students. The SLPA will assist in conducting English and Spanish assessments and help alleviate overflow cases from the Speech-Language Pathologist, ensuring timely and effective care for each child. Key Responsibilities: Assist in administering speech and language assessments in both English and Spanish Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP Support the management of caseload overflow to meet student needs Collaborate with educators and therapists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies Desired Qualifications: Current certification or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish highly valued Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with children and staff Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Location: Santa Rosa, California This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success and development of young learners through a targeted speech and language program.
