Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Cranston, RI

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in an elementary school setting, starting August 25, 2025. This contract position offers a guaranteed caseload focused on supporting elementary-aged students' communication and speech development. Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments of students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication skills Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Document and maintain detailed records of student sessions and progress Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience Familiarity with school-based speech services and healthcare settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children and educational staff Location: Elementary school environment Based in Cranston, Rhode Island Compensation and Schedule: Competitive hourly pay ranging from $55 to $60 Full-time hours with guaranteed caseload and schedule consistency Contract position spanning the current school year (CSY) This position offers an enriching opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young students' communication abilities within a supportive educational setting.
