Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with certification of clinical competence (CCC) to provide vital support to students in a K-12 educational setting in Kenton, OH. This full- and part-time contract position spans the academic year, offering a dynamic and varied caseload experience that includes coverage for both a maternity leave and a medical leave. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students across multiple grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade Manage and adapt to a caseload that may change throughout the school year, including up to three different groups of students Provide teletherapy and in-person speech and language interventions as appropriate Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation according to district and regulatory standards Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment Qualifications: Current SLP license with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within healthcare, school, or teletherapy settings Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required Flexibility to transition between full-time and part-time schedules as the school year progresses Strong communication and organizational skills, with a compassionate approach to student care Willingness to handle up to three different caseloads during the contract period Contract Details: September 1st through Thanksgiving break: Full-time (covering a maternity leave) Thanksgiving break through end of January: Full-time (covering a medical leave) End of January through end of school year: Part-time (15 hours per week) This position offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in the education and development of students while gaining diverse clinical experience.
