Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school licensure is needed for a full academic school year contract in a K-12 educational setting located in Stephens City, VA. This position offers the opportunity to provide vital speech and language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, supporting their communication development and educational success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation Provide therapy sessions to improve speech articulation, language skills, fluency, and social communication Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise Qualifications and Experience: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from ASHA Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with K-12 school-aged children preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to tailor therapy to meet diverse student needs and learning styles Knowledge of relevant speech and language disorders and intervention techniques Location: Stephens City, Virginia This contract position offers an engaging work environment where your specialized skills can make a meaningful impact on student development. to bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to support educational success in this dynamic setting.
