This contract position serves an elementary school setting located in Hartford, CT, providing essential speech and language services to support student communication and academic success throughout the school year. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments for elementary students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Document and report student outcomes in compliance with school policies and state regulations Participate in team meetings and contribute to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) as appropriate Qualifications and Experience: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP licensure for school-based practice Prior experience working with elementary-aged children in educational settings Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in children Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff Location: Elementary school environment in Hartford, Connecticut This contract role offers the chance to make a direct, positive impact on young learners' communication abilities within a structured school setting.
