Occupational Therapist School Setting - Quincy, MA

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A full-time Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is needed for a K-12 school setting specializing in supporting students with severe behavioral needs. This is a leave replacement contract position located in Burlington, MA, running from September through October. The work hours are approximately 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience working with students exhibiting severe behaviors Ability to implement therapeutic interventions suited for a K-12 school environment Strong communication skills and teamwork capabilities Location: Burlington, Massachusetts Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs across grades K-12 Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators and support staff Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as necessary Assist students in developing coping skills and functional abilities to improve academic participation Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies Benefits and Working Conditions: Full-time hours from approximately 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Engagement in a dynamic educational setting Supportive environment focused on student development Qualified candidates with experience managing severe behavioral challenges are encouraged to apply for this contract position to contribute impactful therapy services in a school setting.
