Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed for a maternity leave coverage position within a K-5 setting in Naperville, IL. This onsite role serves a diverse caseload of 25-35 students, working within both general education classrooms and self-contained special education classrooms that support students with autism or autism characteristics. The position starts August 15, 2025, and continues through mid-September, aligning with the new school year calendar. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-5 Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support communication development Deliver individualized therapeutic interventions tailored to students' needs Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) Qualifications: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in special education settings Ability to effectively support students with autism or autism-related needs Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM Location: Naperville, Illinois Onsite, working directly with students and staff in the school setting Benefits: Full-time role with consistent hours (33.75 hours per week) Opportunity to impact student communication and learning during an important transitional period Engagement with both general and specialized student populations in a supportive educational environment This is a contract position for the new school year.
