Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 educational setting located in Allentown, PA. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population over the course of the upcoming school year, delivering essential speech and language support to help enhance students' communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students from kindergarten through grade 12. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations and educational goals. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements. Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs). Qualifications: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Certification and licensure as an SLP in a school setting. Experience working with K-12 school-aged children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
