&nbsp&nbsp A vacancy exists for a Long Term Substitute Physical Therapist/Evaluator within the Office of Early Childhood Services - Early Intervention for the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. The Physical Therapist/Evaluator is responsible for evaluating and delivering physical therapy services to students ages 3-5. This position is available now through March, 2026.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Pennsylvania state license as a Physical Therapist (PT)
2. Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred
3. Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Deliver direct and indirect service to Early Intervention age students (3-5 years old)
2. Evaluate and/or assess student skills during initial or re-evaluation to determine need for related services
3. Collaborate and communicate with MDE/IEP team
4. Develop, revise, and monitor progress of IEP goals

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is located in Norristown, PA and services children throughout Montgomery County, PA. Our Early Intervention Program is split on school district lines into four (4) regions within Montgomery County. Position location will be determined during the interview process. Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 12 months (194 days/year)

2025-2026 Salary:
Bachelors, Step 1: $53,997/year
Masters, Step 1: $65,007/year
*Placement on salary schedule based on experience and/or education beyond the Masters Degree.
