A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full school year contract position in Westland, MI, supporting students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This on-site role offers 15-20 hours per week working primarily with students in grades K-3 across a district comprising three buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech and language therapy based on student needs
- Utilize the EdPlan system for documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting
- Eligibility or completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Familiarity with K-12 educational environments and IEP processes
