Pediatric Speech Therapist in Detroit, MI

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full school year contract position in Westland, MI, supporting students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This on-site role offers 15-20 hours per week working primarily with students in grades K-3 across a district comprising three buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct speech and language therapy based on student needs
• Utilize the EdPlan system for documentation and reporting
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting
• Eligibility or completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Familiarity with K-12 educational environments and IEP processes
