Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing established assessment tools and thorough observational methods.
• Curate individualized treatment plans tailored to mitigate short-term challenges and champion long-term communication and swallowing goals.
• Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions designed to enhance communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing abilities.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to forge unified care strategies.
• Provide educational support to patients and their families, empowering them to continue progress beyond the therapeutic environment.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies to ensure a comprehensive continuum of care during the recovery process.
• Maintain detailed and timely patient records adhering to state and federal regulations as well as organizational policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about the latest in speech therapy practices and innovations.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be completed within 30 days of hire.
