Job Responsibilities

• Implement Effective Interventions: Use evidence-based methodologies to facilitate improvement in patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to provide well-rounded, person-centered care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Teach patients and their families about therapeutic techniques and exercises to encourage ongoing progress beyond therapy sessions
• Review and Track Progress: Monitor therapeutic outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly to ensure that each patient remains on the path to success

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Commitment to continued education and professional certifications is valued and supported

Licensure

• Current Occupational Therapist (COT) license is a must
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
