  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and families to ensure an integrated approach to care.
  • Educate patients and their families to enhance their progress outside of therapy.
  • Participate in some inpatient evaluations and interventions, maintaining the flow of care throughout the rehabilitation process.
  • Document patient progress accurately following all regulatory guidelines.
  • Engage in ongoing education and collaborative learning opportunities in your field.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications

  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within 30 days of hire.
