Speech-Language Pathologist in Pleasantville, NY

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) is needed to provide services for students in a K-12 public school setting. This position is a contracted role lasting the full school year and is located in Pleasantville, NY. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Develop individualized treatment plans and progress reports based on students' needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation according to school and state guidelines. Participate in meetings such as IEP (Individualized Education Program) reviews and multidisciplinary conferences. Qualifications: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP in New York. Experience working with children across a broad K-12 age range. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff. Ability to work independently and manage caseloads efficiently within the school environment.
