Travel Respiratory Therapist - NICU RT

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of NICU experience and required certifications for a day shift position in a level two trauma center.

• Work in a NICU setting at a level two trauma center
• Day shift position with 3x12 hour shifts from 6:30 to 19:00
• Weekend shifts are required
• All travelers are expected to float between various like units and may float to sister hospitals nearby
• Care for neonatal patients requiring advanced respiratory and neuro-diagnostic support
• Epic EMR experience required
• Perform advanced neonatal respiratory therapy duties and participate in neuro-diagnostics as needed
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary NICU team
• Required to complete pre-start and annual training modules
• Scrubs may be any color
• Parking is free for staff
• Employees returning as travelers must have a three month gap from prior employment
• Only one time off request is permitted per contract

• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU respiratory therapy experience
• Current and valid RRT, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• NPS certification preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• License required if applicable
• Must provide a minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable setting
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Pending state license not accepted
• Must be able to commit to working at least 3 of 5 major winter holidays
