Occupational Therapist School Setting in Cambridge, MD

A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to support K-12 students within a school setting. This contract role focuses on providing comprehensive occupational therapy services designed to enhance student learning and participation throughout the academic year. The position offers a unique blend of home health, teletherapy, and school-based therapy approaches to serve diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students in compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school regulations.
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress to support educational goals.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care.
• Provide teletherapy services, leveraging technology to maintain accessibility and continuity.
• Participate in professional development and remain current with best practices in school-based and home health OT.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in Maryland (OT MD) required.
• Experience in home health, teletherapy, and school-based occupational therapy services is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a K-12 school environment.
• Commitment to student-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration.
